Greg, prostate cancer - Brandt, pancreatic cancer - Scott, prostate cancer
Bruno,
I hope this email finds you well. I thought I would give you a quick update.
First of all, I’m still alive LOL and doing well. My PSA level is still undetectable after a year. My son Brandt who had pancreatic cancer (he had the Whipple surgery) is still doing well, scans and labs are flawless. As Dr. Frank said, we can’t judge the effectiveness because we no longer have tumors to monitor our success or failure.
Scott, on the other hand, if you remember, had a not-so-aggressive prostate cancer, but just before we came to Germany, my urologist had him get an MRI of his prostate that showed a tumor. A few months after his return, his urologist/oncologist wanted to do an MRI to prepare for an MRI-guided biopsy. So Scott got the MRI and a few days later got a call back with a report that a biopsy was not necessary because the tumor was gone. This is great news.
So we are all very grateful and hopeful. If you have the opportunity, please forward this to Dr. Frank. (I loved this guy!)
