Insulin-potentiated therapy
What is IPT - Insulin Potentiated Therapy at low doses?
Insulin potentiated therapy (IPT) is a gentle, complementary medical procedure for the treatment of cancer. It is based on a special property of the hormone insulin: it makes cells more receptive to active substances.
How does IPT therapy for cancer work?
During an IPT treatment, the blood sugar level is specifically lowered – this puts the body in a kind of “hungry” state. During this phase, the cells are particularly receptive to nutrients and active substances. This is specifically used to administer chemotherapeutic agents in greatly reduced doses.
Due to the insulin effect, the drugs reach cancer cells in a more targeted manner and preferentially, as these have a significantly higher energy requirement than healthy cells. Healthy cells are therefore largely spared.
Targeted low-dose chemotherapy - used wisely instead of high doses
Insulin-potentiated therapy (IPT) makes use of a special characteristic of cancer cells: they are much “greedier” for sugar and nutrients than healthy cells and have significantly more insulin receptors.
This biological peculiarity is used therapeutically to introduce low-dose chemotherapeutic agents specifically into the cancer cells, while healthy cells are spared.
In short:
Cancer cells “eat” more sugar – and this is exactly what IPT uses:
It opens up the tumor cells in a targeted manner, delivering low-dose drugs exactly where they are supposed to work – without unnecessarily burdening the body.
Advantages of IPT at a glance
Fewer side effects (e.g. hair loss, nausea, immune deficiency)
Low doses of medication
Targeted effect on tumor cells
Can be easily combined with biological and conventional therapies
Individually customizable and can be performed on an outpatient basis
The IPT procedure - explained step by step:
1. targeted insulin administration
- The blood sugar level is lowered in a controlled manner
- The cancer cells become "hungry" and open up for nutrients
2. use the tumor cells' greed for nutrients
- Cancer cells have more insulin docking sites (receptors)
- They absorb substances faster and preferentially - including medication
3. low-dose chemotherapy (approx. 10-20% of the standard dose)
- The small amount is sufficient, as the cancer cells are particularly receptive
- Healthy cells are less stressed, the effect is maintained
4. return of sugar (glucose administration)
- The blood sugar level is normalized again
- The therapy phase is over
This is how the treatment works:
- Fasting for treatment
You arrive sober (without prior food intake) so that there are no competing nutrients in the blood. - Insulin administration
You receive a controlled dose of insulin. This lowers the blood sugar level and the cancer cells become particularly receptive – they “hunger” for sugar and nutrients. - Administration of the active substance
About 30 minutes after the administration of insulin, you will receive a low dose of chemotherapy or a natural active substance.
➤ The cancer cells absorb this particularly quickly and intensively due to their “greed”. - Glucose administration for stabilization
Finally, you will be given glucose to normalize your blood sugar level. Your body will regain its balance.
Important to know:
- The amount of medication used is usually only 10-20% of the usual dose.
- Side effects are greatly reduced and healthy cells are largely spared.
- Natural substances such as curcumin, artesunate or vitamins can also be specifically introduced into the cancer cells via IPT.
Our doctors are among the few specialists worldwide who are comprehensively trained to carry out insulin potentiated therapy (IPT).
IPT - Insulin Potentiated Therapy as part of a holistic cancer therapy
Treating the whole person - not just the tumor
Insulin-potentiated therapy (IPT) is not used in isolation at our clinic, but as an integrated part of a holistic treatment plan. The aim is to strengthen people physically, mentally and immunologically – for a better quality of life and better treatment results.
Supplementary modules for IPT
Our comprehensive therapy concept combines IPT with other supportive procedures:
- Natural remedies that activate the immune system
- Detoxification therapies to relieve the body
- Nutrition & vital substance therapy, to promote regeneration
- Psychosocial support, for emotional stability and mental support
- Whole-body and local hyperthermia, for tumor cell damage and immune activation
- Individually tailored infusion therapies for the targeted supply of micronutrients and natural substances
This results in an individual, holistic therapy plan that is intended to promote the healing process on all levels.
What can IPT help with?
The gentle but targeted effect of IPT can be helpful for various illnesses – especially when other therapies are not effective enough or are too stressful.
Typical areas of application:
Cancer diseases
To support tumor therapy - with significantly fewer side effects
Chronic illnesses & exhaustion
Such as chronic pain, burnout, inflammation, general weaknesses
Rheumatism & autoimmune diseases
To relieve inflammation and stabilize the immune system
Conclusion:
IPT is not a substitute, but a complementary, biologically oriented form of therapy – individually combinable and embedded in a holistic concept that focuses on strengthening rather than burdening.
Traditional chemotherapy is an important but not always sufficiently targeted approach. Its non-specific effect, the high burden it places on the body and the uncertainty about the success of the therapy mean that supplementary or alternative therapy concepts – such as IPT, hyperthermia or biological procedures – are increasingly coming into focus.
IPT compared to conventional chemotherapy
IPT (Insulin Potentiated Therapy)
- Low-dose chemotherapeutic agents
- Significantly fewer side effects
- Targeted effect on cancer cells
- Gentle, well-tolerated form of therapy
Classic chemotherapy
- High-dose chemotherapy
- Numerous side effects
- Damage to healthy cells as well
- Often a heavy burden on the body
